1. Who we are

AskRepairPro is operated by VSG ("VSG", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using AskRepairPro, you enter into a contract with VSG and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization; if you use it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

2. The service

AskRepairPro is an AI-powered assistant for repair, troubleshooting, pricing, and material-estimation questions. You can ask questions in text or voice, optionally attach photos, and receive AI-generated answers, calculations, and estimates. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the limits of your plan.

3. AI-generated content — please read

• Answers, diagnoses, prices, and estimates are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify critical information before acting on it.
• AskRepairPro is not a substitute for a licensed professional. Content is not professional engineering, electrical, plumbing, medical, legal, financial, or safety advice, and is not suitable for regulated work without qualified oversight.
• You are responsible for your prompts and uploaded content, for how you use the outputs, for verifying their accuracy, and for having the rights to any content you upload.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. This includes, without limitation:

• unlawful use, fraud, or spam;
• infringing intellectual property or privacy rights;
• interfering with the security or operation of the service (malware, probing, scraping, circumventing technical limits);
• generating illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, or malware, or attempting to jailbreak the AI;
• reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the service.

We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep it updated, keep your login credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.

6. Intellectual property

VSG retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation, and branding. You retain ownership of content you upload; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service. Subject to these terms, you may use the AI-generated outputs for your own personal or business purposes. Rights holders may contact us to request takedown of infringing content; repeated infringement may result in account termination.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans (such as the Ultimate subscription) are sold by VSG and billed securely through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

8. Service level

We work hard to keep AskRepairPro available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is not permitted by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When your access ends, your data may be deleted after a reasonable period; you may request an export beforehand by contacting support.

11. General

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where VSG is established, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless applicable law provides otherwise.
